TantrumCon uses Aftergame for all attendee event sign-ups. Follow the step-by-step guide below to get registered and start reserving your spots!

Step 2: Join the TantrumCon 2027 Event
After creating your account, visit the official TantrumCon 2027 event page in Aftergame:

On the event page, click “Attend” to mark yourself as going.

Step 3: Sign Up for Activities
Once you’ve joined the event, you’ll be able to browse all available TantrumCon activities and reserve your spot for each event directly inside Aftergame.

TantrumCon will take place on May 27–30, 2027, at the Le Meridien, 555 S McDowell St Tower, Charlotte, NC 28204.

You can purchase your badge at TantrumCon.com or on Aftergame. Choose from the available badge types, enter your details, and complete your payment.

If you don’t receive a confirmation email shortly after registering, please check your spam or promotions folder. If it’s not there, you can reach out to us through the contact form below, and our team will be happy to assist you.

Premier Badge – $130

Standard Badge – $95

Family Badge – $250 (Covers 2 adults (age 18+) and up to 4 related kids/teens under age 18)

Tantrum Kid Badge – $50

Each attendee must use a unique email address to create an account on Aftergame in order to purchase their badge. If you are registering for family members or purchasing badges for your friends you can use email aliases like [email protected], [email protected] and so on.

The Family Badge covers entry for 2 adults (age 18+) and up to 4 related kids/teens under age 18 and will get you access to everything that TantrumCon has to offer. If you need more than this for your family, you can purchase individual additional kids badges here.

If you are staying at the adjoining hotel, parking is available at a discounted rate of $15 per day with in-and-out privileges (overnight guests can use their room key to enter and exit). If you are visiting for the day, stop by the Registration Desk to get a discounted parking ticket—$15 each time you exit.

We work year-round planning and filling the TantrumCon Event Schedule with all kinds of awesome experiences! We try to have it finalized and ready by at least a month before the event. Premier badgeholders will gain access to the schedule a few days early and have an opportunity to register 24 hours in advance of everyone else. We will send out announcements in advance so you’ll know exactly when to sign up.

Yes! TantrumCon attendees can book at a special discounted rate at the Sheraton. This rate is available for select dates surrounding the convention, but rooms may sell out early.

Yes, badge transfers are allowed. Please view our Refund Policy for full details. If you need assistance finding someone to transfer your badge to we recommend first trying our community Facebook group. Please contact [email protected] when you are ready to make the transfer.

Please bring your registration QR code, which you’ll receive after registering via email. You can also access it through the AfterGame app.

A valid ID is also required to pick up your TantrumCon badge. The name on your badge must reasonably match the name on your state ID. For consideration of an exception, please email [email protected].

If we’re unable to locate your registration, you may also be asked to show your confirmation email, either printed or on your device, to verify your badge.

Also, you can look forward to big open gaming spaces, play-to-win games, TournaMeals, special guests, live shows, trivia, exhibitor halls, family activities, music bingo, live shows, contests and prizes, and much much more! TantrumCon will feature a full schedule of official Learn-to-Plays, TournaMeals, Mini-Painting classes, and much more that DO require pre-registration. Dates and details on how to sign-up will be available closer to the event on our Events Page.

TantrumCon will also feature a huge library of games, a Play-to-Wins, shows that happen in open spaces, a Hot Games room, a puzzle space, and lots more that do not require you to register in advance.

The Play-to-Win library is a huge collection of new games (mostly donated by our exhibitors and sponsors). To check out a game attendees can scan the game and their badge (and the badges of everyone playing), play the game, and then check it back in when they are finished. Each time they play a game they will be entered for a chance to win it. At the end of TantrumCon all of the games will be given away to players who participated.

Yes! TantrumCon features an exciting lineup of special guests, game designers, and publishers throughout the weekend. Be sure to check out our Featured Faces page for easy access to all the guest info, and don’t miss the exhibit hall, panels, demos, and playtesting opportunities happening all weekend long!

Definitely! TantrumCon is a super family friendly event (all of our kids will be there!). Our Family Badge offers admission for up to 5 family members. We have a dedicated Family Gaming space with kid-friendly games and programming. The hotel also has a pool and arcade ;)

We highly recommend purchasing your badge in advance, as availability is limited and 2027 could sell out before the event begins. While on-site sales may be available, registering online ahead of time guarantees your spot and makes check-in faster.

TantrumCon is a 4-day extravaganza designed for dedicated gamers. Rather then have an over-crowded Saturday event, we have decided to curate the best possible experience by putting this limitation in place.
