VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

TANTRUMCON VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in joining the TantrumCon Team. Volunteers bring HUGE value to the convention and we thank you in advance for being part of our team!

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, unless provided an exception by TantrumCon staff. We have some areas where teen volunteers are welcome. Please contact [email protected]

Volunteers do NOT need to purchase a badge if working 12 hours/teaching a minimum of 5 games/running a minimum of 3 RPGs. If you have purchased a badge already, we can refund the badge, but be aware that there is a transaction fee for your badge plus a $2 charge for reimbursement processing.

Volunteer Badges are equivalent to "General Attendee Badges" with all the same perks. If you would like a "Premier Badge," we can make arrangements for you to have the cost of a General Attendee Badge reimbursed to you.

VOLUNTEER BENEFITS:

  • 12 Volunteer Hours = General Attendee Badge and a t-shirt for TantrumCon 2026!

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

  • Registration Desk — Great location for happy people with customer service and computer skills!

  • Board Game Library — Must be organized and able to recommend games to people.

  • Special Events — Be ready to setup, decorate, check names off a list, or whatever we need!

  • Family Gaming — Help facilitate open gaming, crafts, and scheduled events (teen volunteers welcome here—age 15+).

  • Show Logistics — Lots of lifting, bag stuffing, moving items, putting up signs and similar set up tasks.

  • Miniature Painting — Helping attendees get set up to paint during Open Painting or classes and cleaning up.

  • TournaMeals — Volunteer to serve meals, teach games, and help facilitate these events.

GAME MASTERS WANTED!

  • Game/Dungeon Master (GM/DM) — Teach games or run RPGs

    We're looking for a host of folks who are willing to teach games as part of the official Learn-To-Play events at TantrumCon. You're welcome to submit as many games as you'd like for consideration on our official event calendar. Additional information about game submissions will be coming soon.
